Hidden within the walls of this beautiful 16th Century manor house is the magnificent ‘Sala Magna’ home to Mallorca’s world-famous dinner show Son Amar. This year, Son Amar proudly presents the exceptional Rock The World. Punctuated throughout with visual comedy, dancing horses and breathtaking acrobatics, this mesmerizing show has no language barrier. Rock The World opens our eyes and hearts to the international, multicultural world of music and dance. You’ll enjoy dance from Latin America, India, Ireland, Russia, London and Broadway theatre, and of course, our homeland Spain. Be entranced by the Spanish ballet, with Bolero and Flamenco from award-winning choreographer Rubén Olmo, also famous from his years as the lead solo dancer with the Ballet Nacional de España in Madrid. You’ll also enjoy Spanish dance sets by Paloma Aznar of Carmen Mota fame. This year we have the amazing comedy of the Collins Brothers and César Diaz, the breakdancing of Zoltan Stanicz, and the incredible talent, mystery and magic of Miguel Gavilan, as well as the flying acrobatics of Bogdan Tsupryk as Icarus. We are also proud to have the Irish champion Celtic dancer Alan Fox as the lead dancer in our Celtic dance and Willy Weldens with his world-famous and unique acrobatics. The show opens with the Son Amar Orchestra and Mallorca’s favourites, Arthur Hensen singing Motown classics and the very beautiful daughter of Mallorca, Rosa de Lima, singing some of the biggest hits of the decade. The pulsating climax of the show is a tribute to the creative genius of Michael Jackson and to exciting modern dance, with the beautiful Helene Jensen singing and choreography by Liubov Khelben, who also creates the dance sets from every other featured nationality. Already in Los Angeles, and with an expected tour of Europe next winter, this is a rare opportunity to see a world-class dinner show right here in Mallorca. Memories are made of this!
